Sara Khatib – 4th year pharmacy student at LAU – had experienced a lot of hardships for her young age. Battling cancer, living with an amputation, and enduring the accompanying pain left her with the capacity for so much wisdom, happiness, and humanity.
On August 23, 2014, Sara Khatib left 4 objects, symbolizing 4 lessons, in our shared time capsule. These were the lessons she wished to share with the world.
Little did we know that this would be her enduring legacy. Sara passed away 14 days later, but not without ensuring that her call to action would be heard by all. Watch this TED video for more.
